Refund & Cancellation Policy

Transparency and Accountability in Every Contribution

Effective Date: 03 November 2026

1. Introduction

Hope Welfare Trust is committed to transparency and responsible management of donations and contributions received for its social welfare and charitable activities.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refund requests are reviewed and processed.

2. Donations and Contributions

Donations made to Hope Welfare Trust are voluntary contributions intended to support the organization's charitable and social welfare objectives.

Donors are requested to carefully verify the donation amount and payment details before completing a transaction.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered in circumstances such as:

  • Duplicate donation transactions.
  • Incorrect donation amount due to a genuine payment error.
  • Unauthorized transactions, subject to verification.
  • Payment deducted but not recorded due to a technical issue.

Each request will be reviewed individually, subject to applicable laws and payment provider rules.

4. Non-Refundable Donations

Voluntary donations that have been successfully processed and utilized or committed towards charitable activities may generally not be refundable, except where required by applicable law or approved after review.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, donors should contact the Trust and provide the following information:

  • Full name of the donor.
  • Registered email address and phone number.
  • Donation amount and transaction date.
  • Payment transaction ID or reference number.
  • Reason for requesting the refund.

Additional information may be requested to verify the transaction and prevent fraudulent claims.

6. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund request is approved, the Trust will initiate the refund through the original payment method wherever possible.

The time required for the amount to appear in the donor's account may depend on the bank, payment gateway or financial institution.

7. Failed and Duplicate Transactions

If an amount has been deducted more than once for the same donation or a payment has failed despite a successful debit, please contact us with the transaction details. We will review the matter and coordinate with the payment provider where necessary.

8. Cancellation Policy

Completed donations cannot generally be cancelled automatically. If you believe a transaction was made by mistake, please contact us as soon as possible. Requests will be reviewed based on the transaction status and applicable rules.

9. Policy Updates

Hope Welfare Trust reserves the right to update this policy when necessary. Any changes will be published on this page with the revised effective date.
